Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. CRAJ is a journal of the Department of Customs and Excise – Polytechnic of State Finance STAN - Ministry of Finance Republic of Indonesia
  2. CRAJ publishes research-based articles in the field of Customs and Excise control and facilitation, IT management system, human resources, international trade, public policy, logistic, port administration, maritime, trade facilitation, excise duty, taxation and fiscal policy. The journal aims to contribute to the understanding, improvement, development of scientific theories and concepts, and their application to solving problems in the customs and excise sector in Indonesia or the world.
  3. Articles must be original, never published before, not being sent to other journals, and must be accompanied by a statement that is not the result of plagiarism or contains elements of plagiarism.
  4. The script must be written in English in accordance with the rules of good and correct language. The length of the text is between 15-20 pages, A4 size paper, typed 1 space, Windows Microsoft Word 2003 program and above, Times New Roman font type, font size 12, upper and left margins 4cm, right and below 3cm.
  5. Bodybuilding Articles: preliminary (20%), background problems and/or recent literature reviews, research methods (15%), results and discussion (60%) discussion supplemented with references from primary and up-to-date references /sources and conclusions, suggestions/recommendation, bibliography (5%).
  6. Systematics and terms of writing are as follows:
    • Title: written in short, a maximum of 13 words, and must reflect the research substance described in the body of the article,
    • Author's name: written without title, located below the title; articles originating from group research, all members must be listed in the same order,
    • Author's agency and address: written the name of the agency where the author came from and the e-mail address that is located under the name of the author; if the author is more than one, the e-mail address for correspondence is quite one of them,
    • Abstract: written in English, one alenia with a length of 150-200 words. Abstract consists of research objectives, methods, and results,
    • Keywords: filled with words or terms that reflect the essence of the concept in the scope of the problem, consisting of several words / terms and referred to in the title / abstract. Keywords are written under abstract with a distance of one line and printed in italics,
    • Body of article: Article consists of an introduction containing background problems and / or recent literature reviews (maximum 20%), methods (15%), results and discussion (60%), and conclusions (5%). The discussion must be supplemented with references from primary / up-to-date references / sources,
    • Thank you: addressed to various parties who helped write, such as research sponsors and speakers. (optional) and
    • Bibliography: references to research results from the latest primary sources (journals) (last 3-5 years) except the theoretical basis and only include the sources designated in the body of the article. Conversely, the name referred to in the torso must be in the bibliography.
