A foreword from the Editor
Welcome to the second issue in 2020 of Customs Research and Application Journal (CRAJ): a peer-reviewed international journal of scholarly and applied work. With its broad scope bridging (yet not limited to) the work of border administration society or customs professionals, private sector related with customs, academic and researchers. The journal is dedicated for enhancing research in several areas, namely, border management, IT management system, human resources development, international trade, government public policy and regulation, logistic, port administration, maritime security and illicit trade, trade facilitation, excise duty, taxation, foreign exchange and fiscal policy.
The second issue of this year includes broad topics on customs’ practices especially from Indonesia. The topics cover studies on customs clearance time, the effect of import facilities, the possibility of implementing carbon levies, border management, and review of the current customs role and customs territory. This issue also highlights behavioural study related to goal selection among customs officer.
And last, I would like to thank experts and academics who created the opportunity for the journal to be issued.
