IMPORT REALIZATION WITH FISCAL FACILITIES DURING COVID PANDEMIC AT CUSTOMS OFFICE TMP JUANDA

Abstract

This research was conducted using qualitative methods that aim to determine the cause of the problem of the lack of need for medical devices in terms of import activities carried out to the related hospital. The research instrument was in the form of interviews with two Juanda Customs and Excise employees who were in charge of import facilities for handling the COVID-19 pandemic. The research concludes that the realization of imports with facilities in terms of import value is quite high. Meanwhile, from the implementation side, there are still some problems. However, these problems do not have a major impact on accelerating the entry of imported goods. So, the problem of the lack of medical equipment used by the hospital is not caused by obstacles in the Juanda Customs, but comes from outside customs matters, for example from the hospital supplier or other things.
